Today's Inspiration: Baseball!

Specifically, kids playing baseball. I think they look so cute in all the gear.....

I heard from Jamie Morris about a call for submissions for the Children's Hospital, for which I have to do an illustration based on sports. I immediately gravitated towards something baseball themed....maybe because it's one of the few sports I actually know the rules for, or because I have been driving my baseball glove around in my trunk for over a year, just in case I decide to call up my Dad and go have a game of catch like when I was a kid. Anyways baseball and kids are a natural combination to me, and kind of bring up this nostalgic feeling, which in turn reminded me of the great movie The Sandlot, whic I think I might go watch right now....
