July Show!

We've been getting a little worried about our upcoming show at the Auburn, as it was getting close and we had few details, but after our meeting Friday I have to say I am very relieved, and starting to get a bit excited. We have dates nailed down, and aside from an opening the first night of Stampede, things should go smoothly.

We have a theme of places and travel, used somewhat loosely in some cases.
I put together a little invite today, don't look too closely at this if you are a designer! :)

As for the work itself, it is in various stages of framing in our living room right now, exceot for a few pieces which are still on my desk awaiting completion. I will be attending to those as soon as I get off the computer here! But first, a sneak preview:

Father's Day

I'm up at 7:30 on a Sunday, so I can head out for the Father's Day run, which I've managed to rope both my sisters and my boyfriend into running with me. It's not raining, so should be a good day! Looking at their logo I experienced the now common "I could have done that" moment. Well the tie anyways looks like something I would do. Apparently Safeway is promoting this by hanging mens underwear around the store. I haven't seen this myself, but it sounds interesting

Currently on our fridge:

The wedding invitation Jason did for my cousin's upcoming wedding. The reply card is really cool too, but we had to send it back so we'll have to get another one from them to hold onto.

It's on his website too, along with a bunch of other recent work.

Blue

Been playing around with this bird again, I still like him!

I've also been working on a lighthouse, inspired by some photos I found of a trip to the east coast years ago, but I'm not happy with it....

Promo Character

A version of a poster project I recently finished (The final looks a little different, but I still like this one). It is going to be used as a self-promotional piece for a visual communications company.
